Hi I am trying to install Suse server Enterprise on a F1A75-V EVO mother board, When the kernel load the monitor goes blank. I have tried different combination (safe mode, etc) with the same result. I suspect the driver in the kernel is not supporting the motherboard and AMD A8-3870K (AD3870WNZ43GX, rev.B0, 3.0GHz, QC, L2:4M, HD6550D, 100W). Anyone knows a way around it or where I can get the driver for this problem.
Is it SLES11? Which SP level?
If acpi=off does not help, maybe try a different video card (a cheap, old pci one) if it’s still blank, then you can not use SLES probably.
