How do I use Velero to backup and restore rancher catalog apps? I backed up a namespace and restored it fine, but the app did not show up on the apps page.
The app resource is maintained in the rancher control plane (ie the cluster named “local” if you’re running in HA mode). Sounds like you used Valero to restore the namespace in the downstream cluster. This would not restore the data in the control plane.
@cjellick I’ve had problems with this since upgrading to Rancher 2.5.1.
Which resources do I need to backup/restore in order to preserve the app resource in the Rancher GUI for 2.5.1?
