How do you change the address of the IPL device on SLES12 Enterprise?
Can anyone offer some guidance? I have a system that I IPL at address 15c0 and would like to change the address to 15c1. I am on SLES 12 enterprise and mkinitrd and zipl is no longer use. Can anyone provide me with a process or some direction to accomplish this?
I found a command called grub2-zipl-setup. It appears to work with several configuration files and seems to setup the ipl device. However, there are no man pages to help with it’s use. Not sure if or how the ipl address can be modified with this command
