Boot cloned virtual machine not starts

Hi everyone!

I’m tryed a virtual machine clone in Wmware, but when i starts the VM, it freeze in boot screen message:

Probin EDD (edd=off to disable)… ok

How do i resolve this issue?

Tks!

Hi
At the grub screen you can add the option edd=off and see if the vm
will then boot.

What virtualization are you using for the vm?

Hi malcolmlewis, tks for reply!

I’m using VMWare vCenter Server 5.5.0.
I cant’t modify the grub because the system don’t starts… :frowning:

You can edit grub before the system starts: https://www.suse.com/documentation/sles11/book_sle_admin/data/sec_grub_basic.html#sec_grub_menu_change
