I’ve registered my account and I have installed a suse server 15. I’ve requested an evaluation license and I tried to registered it on suse with the command:
SUSEConnect -r xxxxxxxx
The system showes this message:
Registering system to SUSE Customer Center
Announcing system to https://scc.suse.com …
SUSEConnect error: Post “yyyyyyyyyy”: dial tcp: lookup scc.suse.com on [::1]:53: read udp [::1]:60520->[::1]:53: read: connection refused
Why?
@MorenoSartori Hi and welcome to the Forum
AFAIK, you first need to log into SCC and ‘add’ the registration code, then can register with SUSEConnect.
But that looks like a network issue, are you going through a proxy? If so you need to allow scc.suse.com.
Yes, I’ve already added the registration code on SCC. I don’t have proxy server.
Hello, I’ve found the solution: I didn’t setup the dns server. I’ve inserted in /etc/resolv.conf and then the command SUSEConnect works correctly.
Thank you.
