Disguised

Hi,

I’m in disguise so you won’t know I’m a tech support question.

Squirrel! →

I inherited a Window 2008 SBS server. All the workstations are XP.

Problem:
Add a new user to an existing workstation and I have to go to that
workstation and install the printers. Printers that had already been
installed for all the previous users.

Question:
How do I make these printers that have already been installed on these
workstations available to new users added to that workstation?

Comment:
I cringe every time they call. because MS is such an archaic way of doing
things compared to OES.

Side note:
I’ve been Googling and haven’t come up with a way to phrase this question
that makes sense to Google. I think Google hates me.

Thanks
Bob C

Bob,

Susan is getting old and senile. Ordinarily she would have been on here to
tell you a tech support question is OK as long as it’s not a Novell product
you are asking for support on.

Now because I had the temerity to question her faculties I will probably get
whacked on the PP with a stick or something equally dreadful.

I find it to be bearable if she is smiling during the whacking.

I worked through the results of that search. I’m waiting to hear back
from them. It’s coming up on a week now and not a peep. Maybe that was
the answer.

Thanks

Ever since the incident where the Big Black Star got affixed to my name she
doesn’t smile anymore, she just whacks the snot out of me or worse.

We really need a few of the old group like Her Royal Lness and Pence and
Pete to get on here for a week or so and light her up. I think she’s
getting deprtessed it’s so quiet in here.

They are - but not that one.

You had us worried there.

Wait a minute. Is this an automated message?

I don’t know about your message, but mine wasn’t automated.

Nothing to worry about, I’m just not a monkey that performs when poked.
