Ethernet controller not working

Hello world!

I’ve FoxConn G41MD-V motherboard with integrated NIC Atheros AR8131 and
Suse Linux Enterprise 11 SP1

running

don’t give this ethernet at all, only 2 3Com NICs and lo

in Yast when selecting this ethernet adapter I cannot edit it and see

"Unable to configure the network card because the kernel device
(eth0, wlan0) is not present. This is mostly caused by missing firmware
(for wlan devices). See dmesg output for details.

You need to locate and build the atl1c driver for the 2.6.32 kernel.
