I’m attempting to upgrade SLES 11 SP4 to 12 SP1, following the doc here: https://www.suse.com/documentation/sles-12/book_sle_deployment/data/sec_update_sle12_start_upgr_after_boot.html, however when selecting the partition to upgrade (On the Select for Upgrade screen, select the partition to upgrade and click Next.) I am receiving an error - failed to mount partition.
The partition I’m attempting to upgrade is /dev/sda2 - ext3.
Upon aborting the install and rebooting checking the logs in /var/log/YaST2/y2log, I do not find any error relating to the failed mount, making it quite difficult to troubleshoot further and resolve.
Has anyone seen this issue before or advice on how to troubleshoot further?
