GraphicsMagick pecl error

Running SLES 11.2 x64 for vmware and I’ve successfully compiled php 5.4.14. I’ve installed the graphicsmagick packages and I’m trying to install the pecl for it and keep getting the error:
checking GraphicsMagick configuration program… configure: error: not found. Please provide a path to GraphicsMagick-config program.

I’ve tried to specify some different locations like /usr/share/GraphicsMagick-1.2.5 & /usr/lib64/GraphicsMagick-1.2.5 when prompted:
Please provide the prefix of GraphicsMagick installation [autodetect] :
but neither of them worked nor did autodetect.

I did a search for the file graphicsmagick-config and couldn’t find it anywhere. I’m guessing that either SUSE doesn’t use it or I’m missing a package.

Anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this ?

Thanks

Hi
This resides in the GraphicsMagick-devel package, do you have the SLE
11 SP2 SDK installed?

Yes but that package doesn’t show up on the list of available packages. I’ll see if I can see why it’s not there.

Thanks

Looked on the DVD itself and I don’t know why but it’s not there.

Hi
Looks all normal, I’ve asked my SUSE contacts to see why it’s not
there…

Hi
OK, I’ve hard back, basically the GraphicsMagick package is
unsupported, hence they don’t provide the development package. Since
the VMware SLES version is tied back to them (for media and provided
packages), the suggestion is you contact VMware support and see if they
can provide a development package for you.

Else, since it’s unsupported as such, I would look at building on the
Open Build Service for your requirements…
