I need to activate a brand new SUSE installation of a customer (SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP3), but I have a problem. The server is a Primergy RX350 S8 and Fujitsu sent also a CD box (Fujitsu Server View) on which a product number is written. As my reseller told me, I tried to activate the system by inserting this product number but I got the error “ERROR: 400: HTTP Status 400 - An improper code was supplied.” I used the official suse_register script to register the system.
The code is correct and it’s a brand new subscription.
Do you have any suggestion?
Is it correct to register SUSE by using the Fujitsu product number? Otherwise I haven’t got any other product/activation number.

If you log into SCC https://scc.suse.com/dashboard can you manually add the code? If it doesn’t work, press the feedback button and report.
