I can't name servers

Caution! Entering Tech Support Zone.

One of my clients is a law firm that handles personnel injury claims. In
my struggle to give their new server a name, besides server, I came up
with ouch.

I would like to change it to something a little more respectable but I
still have the same “what to name it” problem. I have already ruled out
quityerbellyachin and youoweme.

I could name it with their initials but that has changed a few times over
the ~15 years I’ve worked with them. I think they keep me around because
they feel sorry for me.

So. What to name their server …?

Exiting Tech Support Zone. Have a nice day.

Magnum. Think about it. : )

Do you work with Novell technologies at a university, college or school?
If so, your campus could benefit from joining the Technology Transfer
Partner (TTP) program. See novell.com/ttp for more details.

Whilst I can think of lots of names relating to personnel injury
claims(!) the only clean ones I’ve come up with are:

accident
money
cash (think cash slash username … !)

HTH.

I would consider Archer, Kirk, or Picard.

Bob never said they were very large servers though.

“Bethselamin” is nice and subtle, as one has to be extremely familiar
with The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy radio series to understand the
joke.

Wait, it just came to me Server1.

Related to Tom Selleck? I admit, I don’t get it.

Along that line, you could name your server: fourtytwo

Okay, for those who didn’t get it:

Magum, as in Magnum, PI. PI is also an abbreviation for Personal
Injury. You really had to think about it, and it loses something in
having to be explained. : )
