bob_crandell_was_here

or

all_your_servers_are_belong_to_bob

Are you mining bitcoins?

Okay, for those who didn’t get it:

Magum, as in Magnum, PI. PI is also an abbreviation for Personal Injury.
You really had to think about it, and it loses something in having to be
explained. : )

Who is Magnum, PI?

There is this tool called a search engine…Google being one example.

I wondered if that was the connection…but my brain is running a
little slow today…up too late last night.

Here’s a great list of server names:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Star_Trek_planets_(R–S)

One law firm I worked for named their printers after planets. The girls
sent their print jobs to Venus and the guys to Mars. They only had 6
printers so naming didn’t get far enough out into the solar system to get
embarrassing.

I typed in Google and none of the results said anything about Magnum, PI.

LOL

Well if it’s a law firm why not famous judges?

No problem, Ken. I knew the reference would be “too old” for some
people, and too arcane for others. I did think Bob would get it though,
because he’s OLD. : )

You’re just saying that because you didn’t get it in the first place.

Along that line, you could name your server: fourtytwo

Or “fortytwo”, spelling counts.

I don’t think borked would go over too well.

Hey Susan,

Magum, as in Magnum, PI.

Well I got that far, but my mind didn’t do the P.I. translation.

(Extra points if you can name that group/album!)

I didn’t realize there was a spelling issue: 42

Two characters is, for some systems, too short for a server name.

But you’re the one who spelt it “fourtytwo”.
