Install IE on SUSE 11

But it asked for whole strings of dependent libraries.

Is there a good site to download WINE?

Which version of IE? If it’s just to get to websites that only
recognize IE, you can try changing the user agent string.

There is also crossover which you could try out?

I just want to install IE on SUSE. I may need to first install WINE. My SUSE DVD does not have it. So I need to download it somewhere.

The best plan would be if you ping the emulators:wine maintainer here;
https://build.opensuse.org/project/users?project=Emulators%3AWine
and ask if he can build for SLE 11 SP2.

Once that’s done, run the installer with wine.

With a few hiccups with crossover 8.0.0 (just needed to add the msxml
installer) I have IE7 running;
