I have been looking at forums and trying different solutions to be able to get my 3mobile broadband working with Suse 11.4 KDE desktop (tried 12.1 and Mandriva too) for months but no luck! ‘Network connections’ doesn’t have the mobile broadband tab available and although i could get mobile broadband tab available with gnome desktop i still couildn’t make the connection. I’ve ‘controlled by Networkmanager’ box checked and not ‘ifup’, I’ve restarted network manager in terminal, i’ve tried so many things! just want to be able to connect to the internet to update my SUSE install and get everything working properly, why does it have to be this difficult!! or am i just too… unable to ‘get IT’

You have posted in the SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) Networking
forum but given the mentions of “11.4” & “12.1” I suspect you are asking
about openSUSE 11.4 & 12.4 (there is no SLED 11.4 or 12.1).
If this is the case you should repost your question in the openSUSE
