SLED Network settings.

Goodmorning everyone,

I have a question, on my pc i had installed SLED 11 SP2 but we have a Network that is with proxy and a network without proxy.
My problem is when i have the internet cable with proxy in my pc then the SLED would not open Software manager and much more and when i have the internet cable without proxy in my pc i can open everything. How is that possible have someone a solution?

Hi
Further to ab’s comments, you want to configure your PC to use the
Network Manager, rather than traditional ifup this will enable you to
configure the different connection settings as your user.

What kind of proxy are you use? Are you use authorization on this?

I have solved that problem but now i have a problem with the software manager when i start that manager it can’t update anything it gave this error:
