I’ve just installed SLES Desktop 12 at work. In almost all areas it’s working great, which is good, as I’m trying to persuade my colleagues that its the way to go. I installed it at home a few weeks ago and everything went well. However, in the new version that I’ve just installed at work, open office did not install along with the OS. I now cannot find a version that seems to install with SLES 12.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

Are you using SLES or SLED? You have posted in the SLED forum. You refer to what you’re using as both ‘SLES Desktop 12’ and ‘SLES 12’.
What does the output of
$ cat /etc/os-release
say?
Your post subject says ‘Libra Office’. Your post says ‘open office’. SLED 12 includes LibreOffice. OpenOffice still exists but most (all?) distros switched to LibreOffice.
Hi
If it is SLES 12, then you need to install the workstation add on
(Via YaST Add ons) which will include those sorts of things… https://download.suse.com/Download?buildid=OizpdYwpIXk~
You only need DVD1, DVD2 is the src rpms.
