Mail delivery failures from Comcast

Anyone else have issues with people sending emails from Comcast?
My anti-spam system flags them as spam and bounces their emails.
While the content looks harmless, I’m guessing something amiss
in the headers.

So my response to GofBorg’s comment is…

Might be something with their email gateway(s)…

I’ve had users complain of problems sending TO comcast from our domain.
According to comcast, our mail server was blacklisted somewhere. I
checked everything I usually check, not blacklisted.

So I filled out comcast’s online form to get our domain IP removed from
their blacklist, got a reply back that we were not blacklisted. All of
a sudden we could email comcast again, with nothing changed on this end.

Sending to I can somewhat understand, but my SPAM system blocks their users
sending to us. LOL.

Weird. I have not heard from anyone about incoming not working.
Sometimes I hate email.

Well, here’s the thing. It’s pretty isolated to one user, a guy
in marketing. He receives all manner of spammy looking sales guy type
emails, you know the ones loaded with links to Facebook, Twitter etc,
with logos and lots of html. Overall I don’t have many email issues, but
this one user is a chronic issue, either he can’t receive or he can’t send,
or he can’t view an attachment or his mailbox is full, etc. Problems and
urgency increase at the end of each month.

So my initial guess is something’s up w/ his account or something. We
run Groupwise here & I have had sporadic calls from users about not
being able to receive emails from such & such, etc.

More times than not when I get looking into it, they’ve enabled junk
mail handling in their client and blocked an address or something. One
time even a user had put an entire email domain (msn.com I think) in
their local blocked list…sigh
