Hello,
i have the following issue:
I have configured a CIFS mount to a Windows share in /etc/fstab with the credentials in a credentials file. This works good and there is no problem.
Now I want to add another mount to the same target but another share with the same credentials and I get the following error:
mount error(13): Permission denied
Refer to the mount.cifs(8) manual page (e.g. man mount.cifs)
If I make an umount of the first mount and try to mount again, then everything is fine.
Is this a normal linux behavior?
Is there a way to mount the new share without unmounting the other targets?
Thanks

I did a Google search using that error message had got lots of hits.
You don’t provide a lot of details regarding your issue. Rather than
offering you the same suggestions I got from the search, why don’t you
Google to see if you can find something that helps.
