No package glib-2.0 found

Running make I get his error.

Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc’
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package ‘glib-2.0’ found

As far as I can tell glib2 devel is not installed with other glib packages and it cannot be installed on SLES 12SP2.

How do I get this installed to satisfy the requirements of make?

I see both of the following on the SLE 12 SDK x86_64 DVD1 media I
downloaded just now and mounted to /mnt/tmp:

/mnt/tmp/suse/x86_64/glib2-devel-static-2.48.2-10.2.x86_64.rpm
/mnt/tmp/suse/x86_64/glib2-devel-2.48.2-10.2.x86_64.rpm

Download the SDK’s x86_64 DVD 1 (the smaller of the two ISOs, as the other
has the source code), install those files, and then give it a shot.

Good luck.
