as this is usually plain simple - if your server (SLES/ntp) is actually operational and reachable by the switch, then you only need a few simple commands on the switch. May I take for granted that you have configured not only the sntp parameters (sntp server, sntp unicast), but told the switch to actually SNTP (timesync sntp)?
I don’t want to take this discussion offline - I just don’t want look “offensive” in the forum by asking such a plain question, especially as you are already in contact with HP support…
