Been reading about the security implications with Quantum related
computing for some time, great to see them doing so well…and without
wires being best!!
This looks like a good beginning. I imagine much like when aplitude and
frequency modulation were “invented”. Throw something out, scramble it, and
have it reappear on the other side. Since it seems to not deteriorate in
space, I wonder when a Star Trek transporter will be available? In the short
term, maybe we’ll all start wearing helmets with little parabolic dishes on top
so we can instantly get data from satelites.
I think it will make transporting objects more likely. By manipulating
particles at the destination to be exactly like those at the source,
then disintegrating the source particles, transportation
done…although, even Star Trek admitted this, transportation is
actually copying… They’ve already managed to copy objects in today’s
world, but the original object remained…so they’re getting there.
