Hi there,
I’m trying to compile, Dropbox (‘Dropbox - Home - Secure backup,
sync
and sharing made easy.’ (‘Dropbox - Simplify your life’
(http://www.getdropbox.com/))) for SLED 11, I
require, the “libnautilus-extension” to build it,
it’s not included on the media, (DVD EVAL).
Any suggestions for a repository or a place I can download the rpm ?
Thanks
Karl

Hi
Search here http://software.opensuse.org/search? select sled11 in
the
dropdown and you will find it’s been built by a few people already.

The Open Build Service provides a much better platform to compile/build
rpms as it includes both brp and rpmlint checks to ensure there are no
hidden issues with the compiled source.
‘Here’ (‘Linux Enterprise’ (http://pomka.blogspot.com/)) I found a
good step-by-step guide
to compile Dropbox for SLED 11 SP1 (tested OK)

That’s far better way. I didn’t mind, on search.opensuse.org/search,
if you search for “dropbox” it does not match anything because by
default the search option “Include users’ home projects” is not checked.
I compiled Dropbox 1.4 from sources, but Nautilus integration doesn’t work.
Then I tried to install older versions of Dropbox (0.7.1 and 0.6.9) from packages, but they broke Nautilus.
