VPS usually implies a container, and containers usually require the same
distribution for the host as the VPS, so the answer to your question is
probably ‘no’.
Still, can you do an installation of SLES on OpenSUSE as a Virtual Machine
(V)? Sure, by mounting or extracting the installation media somewhere for
the installer to work, but a VM would be done with something like KVM,
Xen, VirtualBox, or VMware, and those are VMs instead of VPS’s.
