I have a version of Open Suse that is several years old and I no longer have the installation files from two of my favorite games on it; and they’re no longer available. The newer versions are awful. This is not a production machine, I don’t need to have the latest hot thing for this machine. I want to take this physical installation and create from it a virtual machine that I can use with Parallels. Parallels can take a “regular” virtual file and convert it for its own use, so all I need to know is how to turn the Open Suse installation into a generic virtual machine. Can someone help me with stap-by-step instructions on this? I have rudimentary experience with Linux, so I need something like a cookbook method for this. Thanks so much in advance.
You want the openSUSE forums which are at http://forums.opensuse.org/
You may find it’s easier to make a virtual machine, install openSUSE then copy the files for the games over.
