I want to install automake, autoconf, and libtool using YaST. These aren’t available with the repositories I currently have:
SLED11-SP1-Pool
SLED11-SP1-Updates
You would then add via YaST add on products and it will add all the
necessary repositories. Else add the repositories manually from the
mirrors list that is generated on your NCC web page.

Awesome, thanks. What repository do I need to add to get xpdf? Apparently it’s not in any of the existing ones because when I search for it in the ‘Software Management’ tool, nothing comes up except xpdf-tools, which I have installed. I don’t understand why xpdf isn’t also available with the xpdf-tools.

Hi
It does seem to be missing, I see the src rpm and xpdf-tools. Let me
ask my SUSE contacts.

Hi
A suggestion, it’s actually dropped in SP2, maybe try the poppler tools
as indicated;
10.3. Replacing xpdf-tools
With SP2 we are switching from xpdf-tools to poppler-tools for PDF
rendering. This is based on xpdf-tools, but more stable and better
maintained and it is a seamless replacement.
