I just execute the following command in my terminal –
zypper packages | grep autoconf
And there is no such package except some packages’ names containing ‘autoconf’
as a sub-string.

You need to add the SLE SDK to get these development tools. If you
check your mirror credentials you can manually add the link to the SDK
and update channels. Else grab the SLE SDK iso image and use YaST add
on products to add the iso image, this will then add the online pool
and update channels.

Which version of SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED) are you using?
Please post the output from “cat /etc/*release”.
