Setup online "SDK" repositories for zypper?

I have a customer with a new SLES 11 SP 2 install and subscription which they have installed and entitled.

There are a half-dozen “-devel” packages that we need on the system, and my understanding is that these are now in a separate set of “SDK” repositories.

Is it possible to add these to the list of standard online repositories? I only need a few packages, so downloading the ISOs would be overkill. Ideally I’d just like them to show up in “zypper lr” and magically work the way the standard update sources do.

Is there a procedure or some reference that I can point my customer to? Or is downloading the ISOs the only option, or is there a separate subscription item they need to buy to get acess to the online SDK stuff?

Thanks!

Gavin

Hi
You can manually add the repositories, if you log into the NCC page and
check the system and then mirror credentials, it shows you the user
name and password to use along with the releveant URL’s to add via YaST
or zypper.

Excellent, that sounds like what we need.

Thanks!
