J’ai réalisé une installation de suse enterprise 12 sp3 sur un serveur Dell. Je suis maintenant coincé car dans l’incapacité de faire remonter les interfaces réseaux. J’ai tenté d’éditer le fichier d’interface. J’ai tenté de réinstaller network-manager mais à chaque soit le service network-manager semble non reconnu soit c’est le service network qui est non reconnu. Je suis passé par yast, par outil réseau mais à chaque fois je suis bloqué.
Ma dernière manipulation en date recréer une interface correspondant à l’emplacement du câble ma permis de récupérer l’icône mais je suis toujoursur incapable de pinguer l’extérieur.
Je précise que le support suse et Dell m’ont renvoyé vers vous.

Hi and welcome to the Forum :slight_smile:
If you use YaST Network Settings and check on the general tab that the service to use is NetworkManager and not the wicked service? You should then have the/see the NetworkManager icon on your desktop?

Can you post the output from;

/sbin/lspci -nnk | egrep -A3 "Network|Ethernet"

J’ai deux deux serveurs, j’ai tenté d’installer de force networkmanager sur le premier et voici donc le résultat.

Voilà ce qu’il s’affiche pour l’un pour serveur1.

Tandis que l’autre nous affiche la configuration par défaut après une nouvelle installation.

Server 1 should be Ethernet not Eternet (a typographical error). Cay you please try again?

So server 2 is ok, just server 1 not working properly?

Aucun des deux serveurs n’étaient bon. Il me marquaient : “Network Unreachable” lorsque je tentais un ping. Il a fallu que je réinstall tous les paquets NetworkManager avec leur dépendances depuis un pc qui lui avait internet.
Une fois les petits ifup et restart network effectué tout est reparti à la normale.
