SLES 10 -Deleted /opt and lost gnome

HI,

I am currently running opensuse 10.2 (very old version). I have accidentally deleted files under /opt folder and all my gnome and kde3 files are lost . So now I cannot load the GUI . I can login to terminal but cannot start X . Any help in this regard his highly appreciated

I can load level 3 but when I load level 5 there is just one screen with login and password and it keeps on coming back upon entering username and password. When I try to run anything from the terminal it says libgthread 2.0 so 0 cannot open shared object file no such file or directory

This is one of our important server and I cannot start the server because of this . Kindly help me here

openSUSE is not the same as SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES). If you are using openSUSE you should repost your issue in the openSUSE Forums @ https://forums.opensuse.org/
