SLES 11-SP2 ISO question

I just downloaded the 2 ISOs file for SLES 11-SP2. The person at our organization who requested the DVD needs the SDKs.

The second DVD is 4.827 GIG. My DVD buring software says the ISO is too big to burn on my 4.7 GIG DVDs. Do I need a Dual layer DVD?

thanks
Phil J.

Hi
The DVD2’s are just all the source rpms, so not really needed for the
install. Just copy the iso images onto the system required on, then add
via YaST software repositories as a iso image.

Note, for the SDK’s again, just copy the two iso images to the system
required on, then use YaST Add on products to add SDK DVD1 and it will
add the online repositories, then as above add the second one as an
iso image via YaST.

So all you need to burn to a DVD is the SLES 11 SP2 DVD1.

Thank you for answer. I admit I was hoping to just burn it to a DVD, but at least I am not dead in the water on this one.

Hi
For sure you can, but as you figured out it needs to be a dual
layer… the SLE SDK DVD2 is 7.1 GB
