Well, cron is doing something every ten minutes (not an error… no
worries) and syslog is documenting some of its own statistics. I
wouldn’t worry about just twenty-two messages over three hours… that’s
not very many.

Good luck.

Hi
Running a cron job every 10 minutes and then every hour syslog is
giving the stats.

Does root or sapprdsvr have local mail?

Hi

You’ll find the culprit in /etc/cron.d/.

It’s /etc/cron.d/sysstat, which runs every 10 minutes to get
system-statistics with “sa1”.

Tom

root has mail. If it is not a warry, then ok.
Is there any log only for warnings and errors?
