<smacks forehead>

I hate it when I’m getting a new model pc built to create an image
and forget something until after I’ve run sysprep and just started the
image capture process…twice now…D’OH!!!

Thanks for confirming that I’m not the only one who does things like
that.

So my response to KeN’s comment is…

Oh not even close! It’s an annual event for me.

In fact, I just discovered another thing I forgot…sigh

After you finish building the system just have the system clone to an
AutoYast file to use the next time. I haven’t forgotten anything in years
as a result. Using the file on the next build just means pointing to it,
and since it’s only a few KB it’s pretty simple. Patches applied at the
same time even… try it out.

Good luck.

It’s not a sles box, it’s windows… :expressionless:

Stevo

openSUSE is the same way… and SLED. For that matter, other Linux
distros can do this too.

I know, you’re on windows. I’m mostly trying to be comical, except that
it’s so sad that windows hasn’t figured this out yet to make it funny.

Good luck.

Oh I hear ya. Not sure if something like that would work anyway, as
it’s usually pretty different software we’re installing from year to
year.

Evernote is slowly replacing my brain.

Mine, too. I use it for everything I want to find again, or remember.
