Suse studio commercial distro

Hi, this is probably a silly question as it might be the whole reason
for suse studio (and its opens source so…)but could you build a distro
using suse studio using opensuse and use it commercially? By this does
the novell service allow it? As a follow on could you use the opensuse
updates straight from their website. Obviously this has advantages for a
young distro with few people to develop it?
Thanks for your time
Regards

You may want to post this on the “Forum” linked in SUSE Studio itself, or
contact SUSE directly for their official stance on this.

I don’t think it’s an issue, but if you use SLES/SLED as the base,
those who use the downloaded appliance will need their own subscriptions
to receive updates.
