Trouble with client reaching the SuMa

Refreshing service ‘spacewalk’.
Download (curl) error for ‘https://af3a1susmgmt01n.ashfed.sf.priv/XMLRPC/GET-REQ/suse112_base/repodata/repomd.xml?head_requests=no’:
Error code: HTTP response: 400
Error message: The requested URL returned error: 400

I followed some queues from this page: https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=7018748

Just rolled back to previous version and did the mgr-sync refresh. Still no luck. Any takers?

How can I simply have it unmanaged by SuMa and do the patching manually?
If I add the repo I want then enable it, wont SuMa delete the repo on each system?

Use SMT for this purpose, not SUSE Manager.

With SUSE Manager you took the decision to move client management from manual patching automated/central patching.

Even if it is managed by SUMA, you can still patch manually. Just don’t initiate from SUMA. Don’t know about SP upgrades but you can definitely install patches as I have done so from the client.
