I’ve been playing with Convoy + GlusterFS using the catalog, it works really well with my limited tests. Now I am wondering how could I access the data in the GlusterFS clusters from outside Rancher? say I wanted to mount it in a different host?

In the current version of GlusterFS in the catalog, this is not supported, but in the next version, this should be possible.
Please note that in the current version, we will not be able to upgrade to the next version.

The latest version of GlusterFS has been deployed as the same version number. There are some notes in the catalog entry about mounting.

Hopefully this won’t be seen as a hijack of the thread but I hope it will be related. Wondering if there is a way to do the reverse of this OP’s question; access a glusterfs volume already deployed on a set of host systems not managed via the rancher interface?
