Channel is not mirrorable~~

Hi All
I am studying SUSE Manager … I try to perform mgr-ncc-sync to subscript Channel…but I find some channel show [X] and I try to subscript them to show “Channel is not mirrorable”

susemanager:~ # mgr-ncc-sync -c sles11-sp1-suse-manager-tools-x86_64
The following channel(s) are no longer mirrorable:
sle11-smt-sp2-pool-x86_64
sle11-smt-sp2-updates-x86_64
Channel sles11-sp1-suse-manager-tools-x86_64 is not mirrorable.

whether channel has [X] status channel could not Sync or not ? if the answer is Yes…why these Channel still exist in the list ?

thanks!!

wyldkao:confused:

Are your mirror credentials still valid ?

Which channels are shown on novell.com/center as mirrorable for you ?

I’m having the same problem. I’m going through a trial for suse manager, and am unable to add the suse manager tools, though novell center says I should have access to it:
mgr-ncc-sync -l
Listing channels …

Status:

  • P - channel is installed (provided)
  • . - channel is not installed, but is available
  • X - channel is not available

    [X] sles11-sp3-suse-manager-tools-x86_64-vmware-sp3

These credentials allow you to use SMT to create a local mirror of your repositories. The credentials are unique to the products for the XXXXXX Inc (XXXXXXX) account. Access to each product’s update channel will expire if/when your product expires.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

Hi
Better to start a new thread with your issue

The repo you showing for the tools isn’t the one for vmware. Do you have
activation codes for vmware, if so you may need to use one to manually
register, then list products again. If it appears, delete the used
license on NCC.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same issue with the channels showing that they are not mirrorable even though we should have access. Did you have to manually download the packages and create a custom mirror?

Thanks,
