In my product, I want to install the SLES15 SP5 OS, which has the grub2 version is 2.06-150500.27.4 Will this grub2 version 2.06-150500.27.4 works smoothly if it is installed in the older version of SLES15 OS like SLES15 SP1,SP2,SP3, SP4 and SLES15 without SP as well or not? As the client might have the older SLES15 versions.

Installing packages from a newer release of SLES to the one running is not supported so it would not be a good idea to advise your clients to do this.

But I downloaded the newer release package to the older running version and it worked on it without any issues.
