Installer sles 15.1 from a second drive

Hi

I have dd’ed the sles 15.1 iso to a second hard disk. The host OS is sles 11.4 SP4 with legacy grub. Can I boot the second disk by modifying the installed legacy grub ? I want to install sles 15.1 from the second hard disk.

Figured this one out. Instead of dding, copied the installer content to second disk and edited grub leagcy to boot from 2nd disk which is ext2.
