How to freeze Suse Manager updates

Hello,

We are going to start a patch cycle. It could take months to roll out. We would like for Suse Manager to stop its updates to its repositories until we are done.

When we were on SMT, we could just stop the mirror command from running.

How do we do the same for Suse Manager. That is stop its updating of it’s repositories until our patch cycle is done?

On the admin task scheduling screen, would disabling the schedule of the bunch called: mgr-sync-refresh-default. Would that freeze the the suse manager repositories. Would it have any unwelcome side effects?

You need to clone from the vendor channels. The updates will then only go to the vendor channel, not the clone channel.
