We received the product license from NovellProductDelivery@Novell.Com
and downloaded both SLED-11-SP1-DVD-i586-GM-DVD1 and
SLED-11-SP1-DVD-i586-GM-DVD2 to our Windows 7 computer.
The problem is that the SLED-11-SP1-DVD-i586-GM-DVD2 iso image is too
large to burn onto a DVD and Novell won’t sell the software media. How
do we create the installation DVDs if the size of the ISO image is so
large?

Hi
You only need DVD1 for the install. Else you need to burn to a DL dvd.
DVD2 is the src rpms so just add after the install as an iso image
saved onto the system. Else just enable the online src rpm repositories.
You don’t need to burn DVD2. DVD2 only contains sources and it is not
required for installation. Unless you want to look at the sources for
packages you don’t need it at all.
It is beyond me why Novell don’t explain this on the download page.
