My environment is
Hypervisor = Hyper-V 2012
OS Version = SLES 11 P2
Installed newest patch of integration services as well.
When I add any network adaptor, i.e. legacy or otherwise, and turn on the suse VM, i am missing the eth’x’.
I can fix it by running rm /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules.
I wanted to know if there is an issue with Hyper-v or Suse server?
Has anyone come across this issue before?

What’s the output (in the VM) of “lspci”?
That should tell us if the network card is detected or not.
