Good morning all,
My question lives somewhere between the Microsoft world and the Linux world. I have a SLES 11 SP1 installed as a vm on a hyper-v 2008 R2 SP1 windows host. I recently moved it to a new host that only has 2008 R2 without the Service pack. I did an export and then imported the new VM and no matter what i do i cannot get to access the network. SLES shows that the network is attached. What is the best way to handle this issue. I have also posted this with MS to see what they say but i thought i would put it here also to get some feedback form the linux people. Thanks for your help.
So no takers on this?
Hi
When you say attached, as in the virtual interface is present but not
getting an ip address? Not a MAC address conflict in the configuration?
Maybe some more details, ifconfig output etc…
