Network manager, adding DSL connection

Hi,

I have a problem adding a DSL connection with NetworkManager.
I go to DSL tab, click Add, enter parameters, check “available to all
users” , click apply, and then I get error message:

“Could not add connection”
“Could not distinguish the type to be added”

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Dino

I can reproduce it. You may add connection for each user then unless you
need NetworkManager to connect to a network before a user logs in.

Dear Alex,

Thank you.
I also have this issue, I still can’t fix, now I use “ifup command” to
connect DSL.
Could you help me to provide more detail set-up " add connection for
each user then unless you need NetworkManager to connect to a network
before a user logs in" ?

I am junior user for linux.

Best,
Cut
