Hello,
I’m using SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 64bit on a VM and when it reboots it keeps just going straight to the Kernel and I can’t get back to grub. I’ve tried rebooting multiple times but it still goes right back to the kernel.

Hi
You mean the system boots to the desktop?
If so, then once logged in fire up YaST → System → bootloader and check in the bootloader options tab that the grub menu has no been set to hidden (Hide menu on boot) and the delay is not set to 0.
Perhaps your boot timeout (in Grub) is set to zero seconds. Check your
/boot/grub2/grub.cfg to see if a timeout in there is set to zero. Better
yet, run Yast and go to Bootloader (I think) in there to configure this
timeout for the future.

Good luck.
