i have a new wifi dongle - which says linux compatible / but when i put into usb port of a linux susie kkd / pc it powers ‘devices’ but does not recognize devices such as phones & this new wifi dongle Nwebie help please appreciated

Since you are posting about a wi-fi dongle, a physical piece of
hardware, I doubt you are using SUSE Linux Enterprise Server
(SLES) hosted in Amazon’s Cloud which is what this forum is
for.
If you are using SUSE Linux Enterprise (the output from “cat
/etc/*release” will show that) then I suggest that you repost
your issue in the Hardware sub-forum for either SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server or SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (SLED),
depending on which you are using.
