it would be great to read some words about the future of rancher as a free solution.
As a german I know Suse sind the the 90s when starting with linux and saw a lot of owner and products coming and going after a while having more or less success.

Rancher and (the current incarnation of) SUSE have both been committed to fully open-source products with no lock-in and we expect to continue to be.
