Hello all: We just installed a new HP DL380p G8 server. It came with Hyperthreading enabled. We run OES11. Should I disable HT?
Thanks, Chris.

You probably should ask this in the OES forums, not chat. If I answer
here, we might see “The Return of the Thwack!”.
Thank you, Ken.

Hasn’t that been blamed for some of the earth tremors in the local area
where the thwacking is being carried out?

Hyper threading does not just impact the server OS which is why I posted here. Oh well - never mind - No soup for me.

But you are asking about a server with OES installed. So ask in the
OES install or administration forum and people can answer. The chat
forum isn’t for Novell product support.
