I am installed onto physical hardware. I boot off the CD and select installation. It looks like it is working then, when the green lines are going across the bottom on the screen, I get:
file:/var/mount/boot/x86_64/root: SHA1 sum wrong.
If you really trust your repository, you may continue in an insecure mode.
With OK and Back as the selections to make. I select OK, then it returns an error occurred
and the installation fails (it does not go any further).
I have downloaded the ISO from the SuSe site 3 different times. Each time, either the CD does not boot or I get this error. I have burned the 3 different ISO’s on 3 different PC’s (Mac and PC). Not sure what is going on here. Can anyone offer any assistance?

Have you compared the checksums to the download before burning?
When you burn the DVD, are you using the lowest speed? A lot of drives
have issues burning at their full burn rate, especially older drives.
Once the burn is done, there should be an option to do a media check when
you boot from the DVD. Do that. If it fails but the download’s checksum
was OK, then the burn is bad and needs to be redone.
