I have a removable hard drive device I purchased to try and do periodic backups to. This device allows me to use any SATA drive to swap in and out as needed. However I can’t get the drive to use the same device name as each other. One drive goes in as SDD1 and another goes in as SDE1.
Is there a way to make them all go in as SDD1 as long as they are placed in the device?
