SLES 8 Required

Hi,

I wonder if someone at SUSE can help. We have a couple of servers that are getting a bit long in the tooth that are however still in production and due to the software package installed we can not upgrade. I would like to build a DR server but do not have the original release disks for SLES 8. An ISO I could download would be absolutely ideal. The version we have in production is:
Welcome to SuSE SLES 8 (powered by UnitedLinux 1.0) (i586)
Kernel 2.4.21-261-smp (3).

Thanks in advance,

Hi Geoff,

while I cannot provide you with the desired ISOs, how about cloning the disk of one of the production servers?

Regards,
Jens

PS: I’ve checked with my SUSE contacts to see if they can add the according ISOs to the download area, but cannot tell when I receive a response. You might too ask your SUSE representative if (s)he can help out…
